“The Unknown Known” exhibition

We are in the middle of our two week exhibition that opened on the 17th of November. It’s been an amazing experience producing some new work in different mediums and exhibiting in a beautiful space with some other wonderful artists.

The artists: Sam Randall, Ruby Purple and Michelle Bowden

The venue: Impress Print makers Studio and Gallery, 134 Kedron Park Rd, Wooloowin

The exhibition was inspired by the amazing Georgia O’Keeffe, the American modernist artist. Georgia was well known for her abstracted flowers and austere landscapes in the desert. The name of the exhibition came from one of her best known quotes:

“Whether you succeed or not is irrelevant, there is no such thing. Making your unknown known is the important thing…and keeping the unknown always beyond you.”

Artists talks will take place Saturday the 25th of November from 11am to 1pm

Attached is the catalogue of works to peruse at your leisure. If you are interested in any of the pieces then let us know and more information can be provided.
