Sometimes you get so busy and forget to blog! But then you realise you are doing something so important you need to write about it.
This year I am launching the Warrior Women Art Prize.
The art prize is the culmination of a range of activities with the Warrior Women art collective that I founded in 2015. There have been many exhibitions and fund raisers over the years. This new format will benefit the women artists with a beautiful exhibition at Impress Printmakers studio & gallery and a first prize of $500.
The exhibition is from the 7th of March to the 10th of March.
Opening night is the 8th of March (International Women’s Day) from 6:30pm. Come along to help us celebrate at Impress Printmakers studio & gallery, 134 Kedron Park Rd, Wooloowin. There is plenty of parking at the back. Entrance to the gallery is via the car park.
This event will still be a fund raiser for Women for Women International and our sponsorship of a woman to go through the 12 month educational program.
