I am pretty excited to be a finalist in the Royal Queensland Art Society’s Figurative art prize. The opening and prize announcements are this Wednesday.
The painting I entered is a very special one for me. My inspiration was from photos I saw of refugees waiting for someone to help them.
The painting is called “Waiting” (for a good samaritan).
