Michelle Bowden

Artist and Curator

Director and founder of Warrior Women in Art, curated exhibitions at :the mezzanine: gallery space, chaired the COSSAG art prize 2015 – 2024, and is currently the gallery manager of the Impress Printmakers gallery.

Michelle is absorbed in all things art. She has a thriving arts practice which incorporates creating, events management, curation and mentoring.

Michelle Bowden is a Australian artist whose creative vision is primarily expressed through abstract painting.  She explores the interplay of colour and form, always experimenting.

Her paintings are a testament to the power of art to evoke emotion and capture the moment. Michelle invites viewers to immerse themselves in her atmospheric abstract works. She takes them on a journey of introspection and discovery.

Michelle also works with a variety of mediums; painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography and video.

Her art has been exhibited in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Napier, New Zealand, New York, Milan and Helsinki. Her works can be found in private collections across the globe.
